Dr. Trinanjan Basu completed his MBBS from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata, followed by an MD in Radiation Oncology from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. He further enhanced his expertise by earning a CAS-Pr (Switzerland) certification and has received advanced training in CyberKnife–Advanced Robotic Radiation Therapy. His academic background and specialized training have provided a strong foundation in radiation oncology, advanced radiotherapy techniques, and evidence-based cancer care.

Dr. Trinanjan Basu is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at HCG Cancer Hospital, Borivali, Mumbai. With over 15 years of experience, he has treated more than 5,000 cancer patients and has expertise in IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT, PET-CT-based treatment planning, and CyberKnife-based radiation therapy. Before joining HCG, he served as a Senior Registrar at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Clinical Associate at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, and Associate Consultant at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon. He has authored more than 35 national and international peer-reviewed publications, received several prestigious international grants and awards, and actively contributes to oncology research and professional societies.
