Dr. Pramod Kumar Julka is one of India's most distinguished Medical Oncologists, with more than 47 years of experience in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman – Medical Oncology at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.

Dr. Julka has also made significant academic contributions as the author of two books on clinical trials and numerous research publications in oncology. A former WHO Fellow, he received advanced training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, and Long Beach Memorial Cancer Center, USA. Alongside his work as a medical professor, he has played an important role in shaping cancer care, research, and the education of future oncology professionals.
A Padma Shri awardee and internationally recognized cancer specialist, Dr. Pramod Kumar Julka has dedicated his career to advancing oncology through innovative treatments, clinical research, medical education, and patient-centered care. His remarkable contributions have earned him numerous prestigious honors, including the Padma Shri (2013), the Lifetime Achievement Award by AROI (2013), the Gold Medal in Preventive Oncology (1995), the Leading Scientist of the World (2005) recognition, and the Lifetime Achievement Award in Oncology and National Excellence Award at the Cancer Conference 2025 in Mumbai.
