Welcome Introduction by Ravi Prakash – Journalist and an Active Lung Cancer patient, The Cancer conclave 2023
As a cancer patient from Ranchi, I am thrilled to be a part of The Cancer Conclave organized by UHAPO Health Services on February 4th, 2023. This event is not just an opportunity for me to learn more about the latest advancements in cancer treatment, but also a chance for me to connect with other patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals and be the voice of Cancer Patients and caregivers in India.
Being diagnosed with cancer was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. It was a journey filled with uncertainty, fear, and pain. But through it all, I had the support of my family, friends, and healthcare professionals who helped me navigate this difficult journey.
I am grateful to UHAPO Health Services for organizing this event, which will provide a platform for patients like me to come together and share our experiences. It is reassuring to know that we are not alone in this fight against cancer.
The Cancer Conclave promises to be an informative and inspiring event. I am particularly excited to hear from the experts who will be speaking on a range of topics related to cancer care. As a patient, it is essential for me to stay up-to-date on the latest treatments and research so that I can make informed decisions about my care.
I am also looking forward to connecting with other patients and caregivers at the event. Sharing our stories and experiences can be a powerful tool in helping us cope with cancer. It is comforting to know that we can support each other and learn from each other’s journeys.
In conclusion, I would like to extend my gratitude to UHAPO Health Services and Cancer Research and Statistic Foundation for organizing this event. I am honored to be a part of the Cancer Conclave and look forward to learning, sharing, and connecting with others in the cancer community. Together, we can work towards a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease.
